Daily Request: Bring Back Team Builder for Blind Pick

I know it'll be ignored, downvoted, deleted, and anything else you guys do to things you refuse to actually reconsider, but here it is anyway.

PLEASE bring team builder back for blind picks, OR AT LEAST a dynamic champ select version for blind pick without bans. It is sheer hell these days without it. I mean, it would be nice to play a game before 20 minutes of dodging, afk check fails, and all the other garbage associated with the draft mode. If even one Rioter reads it and makes a suggestion, its worth the post.

They are bringing a version of the new champion select to replace blind pick. That has been the intention from the beginning

To add, please add a fill option in teambuilder, even though it's 99% support, you can always roll the dice and hope for a 6.

That'd be a good choice actually, although we had the ability to pick champ and role.. and lost it to a mode where we can't be guaranteed either.

I doubt team builder would improve blinds due to the fact it is the only game mode low level players can play. These players have limited champ options and can't even play jg for a good while. Teambuilder at lvl 30 was plagued with waiting around for roles like support and such, it would be much worse with lower level players who need to rely on the free week champs or put out their cash for rp.

I do miss Teambuilder since it was the only game mode where I could play as the champ I want without worrying about bans or fighting for my role with someone else. But it can't fix blinds, not without huge changes.

That said a dynamic champ select sans the banning phase sounds pretty awesome, granted role select will be difficult due to the aforementioned lower lvl players but if that is impossible they could make as a normal mode for lvl 25 and up since by that point a decent library of champs is to be expected.

If blind was replaced with Team Builder, the low level players would know they can't worth shit with no runes and limited masteries from experience and search for another top, wouldn't they?

The problem is that blinds is the exclusive pvp mode for players until they unlock draft. Team builder had the problem of long wait times for unpopular roles when it was exclusive to lvl 30. Imagine the ridiculous wait times with lower level players who have less knowledge of the game meta, can't jg because smite isn't unlocked, and have a small selection of champs if they an't willing to buy champs outright with cash.

Easy solution is to make team builder level 30 and above only for access. There were wait times, sure, but most of the time people in the group decided to just make a new queue and fill that role to get going. In blind pick I can't tell you how many people -refuse- to even play anything outside what they had their mind set on playing from when they queued in, leading to duo top, mid, two junglers, etc. Its crap.

The good thing, though, was you had the ability to boot out anybody with free champions, or review their match history while in the lobby assembling the team. I used to do that all the time to see if someone was actually good with the champ or just using a free week champ for the first time.

It had all the fixes we need right now: guaranteed choice of champ, guaranteed choice of role, and captain can kick anybody out if they queue in with troll masteries/runes/spells/etc. A huge step back is what we have now.

If the dynamic queue is similar with the blind pick, it'll still be pretty high waiting times. I used to get a team together in 5 minutes max on TB and queue into a game within one minute. I've waited an average of ten minutes on Draft just to get a team that doesn't dodge. The other day there were 5 dodges in a row from people quitting right at the champion select lock in, so it took 25 minutes to start one single game! Its also why I refuse to play it until there's a viable alternative.
