Seriously, it's fun for about a round or two...then it's just complete shit.

No actual way to figure out why I died, no reason to see, as nothing but a single item change, RNG on RNG on RNG on RNG from round two/three forward, and my favorite is supposed to have some kind of balance. I see people with level 3's while I'm still working on a level 2 and I'm fighting them. I see people decked with items while I'm still waiting for my second one. I see people with assassins and realize it doesn't really matter what I do or if I have them out ranked, I'm going to just be deleted.

Is there any actual thought going into this, or are we just riding the RNG train for the entire game? I was looking forward to it, but every time I play it just feels horrible.

Its not as much of a coin flip as you think. Things you need to learn.

Build for comp first, Items distant second because they are incredibly inconsistent.
Learn which tier champs drop at which levels and at what percentage.
Learn synergies.
Understand that 2-3-4 buff synergies will get you top 4 finishes more often than trying to chase 6 champ full class synergies, ie yordles for example.
Know what tier 1 and 2 champs do and what comps they build. Why? Look at the end of a game, the overwhelming amount of the time 3 stars are 1-2 champs.
Know when to reroll and when to save. This goes back to knowing what champs are at what tiers and what drops and what levels. If you are sitting on 7-8 tier 1 or 2 champs and youre level 5, reroll to try and finish them off, especially if you are fortunate enough to have 1 or more items on them. If you are hoarding gold past level 4 and looking for tier 1 champs the drop off on getting tier 1s is sharp, particularly after level 5.
Do not look to take tier 3 and above champs past 2 star. Unless a game goes very late it most likely aint happening.
Unless you need a certain champ on the carousel to complete a 2 or 3 star champ use the carousel to obtain an item, not some random champion. This is your only reliable source to get an item 100% of the time.
When in doubt just build assassins. If you get 6 of them you will place you will end up in the top 4 almost always. Its quite easy to get 6 when thats all youre gunning for.

I suppose I can go on about strats but thats a good start.
