Riot, your community needs you. All of us, not just your upper 3% or so.
Every time any troll is threatened with being reported, they just laugh "Riot isn't going to do anything, if they do it's just a longer que or silence for a few games anyway. Doesn't matter. Worst case I'll make a new account, kid."
Why the hell am I dealing with this EVERY GOD DAMNED GAME just about?
"Get good and carry" is not an answer for this, not from the community if we want something better, and sure as hell shouldn't be from Riot.
There's a line that needs to be looked at, when people start intentionally trolling ranked games they should be warned once, then perma-banned and locked out of making an account for at least some period of time or something. Ban them from ranked for a month! Let them then try to appeal, MAYBE some people might reform...but they sure as hell aren't now. Yeah, that's SUPER harsh, but so is the sheer amount of trolls in this game, especially at 'lower elo.' Doesn't matter how I play, ONE troll feeding/throwing intentionally is enough to COMPLETELY screw the game. I'm not saying I'm challenger, far from it...but God damn, do something about the actual problems. People who, say, instigate non-stop. People who intentionally screw people's ranks game AT ANY RANK. Not someone who has a bad game, that's understandable. That happens to everyone. But, for example, someone who Ban's mid's champ intentionally, then says they're going mid, select a mid champ to lock in when it's their turn, mid ends up choosing a support so we at least have a CHANCE TO TRY TO PLAY IN THE RANKED GAME...then said offender decides to lock in a support and that he's going support should be removed from the ability to log back into your game at all, for the health of the community and game overall.
I'm toxic sometimes, in which most of the time (not all) I apologize. I understand I shouldn't be, and it has nothing to do with the with the chat restricts or longer que...it has to do with being an asshole and realizing what I'm doing. I'm not perfect, I'm not going to pretend I am.
Dodge you say? Then we get the loss, or an elongated que...why the hell am I being penalized for this jack ass? By the way, this particular brand of garbage is named "Joey Montague." Little tired of this every game, or every other game on a good night.
I want the game to be enjoyable again, but trolls for the last 3 seasons have gotten worse and worse. The game has completely devolved to little more then a burst fest, and you've decided that tanks, that might be able to survive the burst fest, should now be all but obsolete with, what...two? three items maybe ignoring a near full build?
Fine...I can deal with that stupid crap, and I can only hope you realize how ridiculous of a move that is, not that I'm saying tanks should be nigh unstoppable, but they're there to counter assassins...not be completely melted by the damn near the same way a MM or other squishy is.
Please start paying attention to the community as a whole instead of only your upper echelon. It's desperately needed. The game is getting to the point where it's almost not worth playing and it'll be better to find another game at this point. I've invested a lot of money and time into league, and I would honestly like to continue playing...but it's becoming an absolutely miserable experience. The incredible imbalance is one thing, 10 bans will help stop stupid crap like Yasuo (double crit? Really? That's just stupid. 200% from a stat for anyone is stupid.) or Hecarim (lol spinny doom) or other misc stupid things. But we can't ban people and trolls, and a slap on the wrist isn't enough anymore. They're destroying lower ranks so it's cancerous to play.
This is my plea, as a league player and someone interested in continuing to invest in Riot and League of Legends...please help.
TLDR; Riot, please start taking action more then just a slap on the wrist. More then your upper echelon needs you. Please remember the rest of us before you allow your game to become nothing more then cancer due to lack of action. Also, "Joey Montague" needs to be reviewed for what kind of person he is, intentionally ruining ranked games needs to start carrying a massive penalty, not the pussyfooting slap on the wrist. Your community needs you, not just the 'pros' and higher ranked ones, all of us.
