Algorithm Fix

Just played a game where I had 2 Azir in my shop at 3-1, I had a spat and all the items for a blademaster build so I bought it and the next round levelled, rolled down, and get most of my comp. I did not see a third Azir (and rolled down WAY too much gold to do so) until 5-5. I was second place in the end (did not swap because desert comp and no renekton or kha were appearring) and not a single person in the lobby was going the same build, the only champ I owned that was contested was my Sivir (who I 2 starred fairly mid game)

This algorithm needs to be fixed, whether it be by simply adding a scaling Dupe multiplier (the higher the player level the higher chance for duplicates) which would only improve the skill of econing into the late game as rolling down late game as level7-9 would drastically push for 3 star units allowing players to play for the late game even more so) needs to be added. The fact that there were that many azir's in the pool but not one came up is wrong.

And before people comment the classic "you can roll 100 d6 and get a 1 every time", yes you can, but if the game is truly supposed to be based on skill (and tactics) they should hinder that much random die rolling RNG as much as possible.

The game's algorithm is laughable, an embarrassment. Considering the incompetent patches they've been throwing out the last few weeks, I wouldn't expect much.

You rolled how much gold at level 7 and didn't get azir?

Also, while you were rolling, you didn't keep other champs to have an alternative in case the azir didn't come? So you could just go another comp and sell the azirs?

Adapting is a huge part of TfT.

Yeah I know the feeling man... Saw my wife playing a game she was looking for 2-3 different tier 5 units and she had 2/3 of them right?? she was level 8 so she had a 6% chance to get a tier 5 unit.. OKAY... well her last opponent 1v1 ( down to last 2 ) was level 7 and he only had a 2% chance to find a tier 5 unit... Yet he had a 2 star taric which pretty much won him the game, only reason I remember this game so vividily is because he was basically cussing her out and talking mad crap and here I am thinking about what kind of RNG he had to have to obtain that drop meanwhile my wife lost because she couldn't even 2 star one tier 5 units she was working on.

EDIT: It also doesn't help how many freaking units are in the pool now, RIP... sucks seeing someone have 5 3 star tier 1-3 units meanwhile, i'll play econ and try to play it smart for long game, will have 3-4 more units out than them and no one stars but will still lose.... RIP set 2 sucks

Beteljext13 are you talking about how hard is to get 2 stars at 6% chance ? Seriously ? Nappa is talking about getting 2 stars at 35% chance.

I'm not agree to deserve 2 stars tier 5 units at level 8 so easy. Level 8 is right for tier 4. Level 9 is right for tier 5 where the chance increase to 15%.

I would make a restriction: to be impossible to get 2 stars tier X unit for level < X + 4.

Also I would give the third unit if you pay an amount of golds (30-40) for it and if you reached right level.

this game already have an algorithm which make the game harder because "to make games more exciting" so in your case the algorithm prevented you to become a menace to someone else enjoyment
