equal footing start, remove catch up bonus (lose to win)

heres my suggestion to equalize the game :

first off, remove the carousel entirely, it promotes losing to win and doesnt seem like it can be regulated to work well so instead just make every PVE round drop one component for everyone, no gold, just drop for everyone or for nobody at all so theres plenty of RNG but things are "fair"

second give item drops options, so you kill pve round, 2 boxes pop out, one has armor the other has belt, you get to pick one not both, but you still have some option but are limited to the RNG and sometimes wont even get an option really when your options are belt or belt lol

like this nobody is losing for better spot on carousel, everyone values their hp fully, and everyone is trying to snowball on each other while also trying to balance economy

everybody gets the same number of items, everybody gets the same chance at economizing or investing into snowballing and the choices that come from there would, i think, feel more satisfying to the player even though they're still at the mercy of RNGsus

While equalizing the game by removing carusel and losing bonuses may seem good in theory, I think in practice, it will instead make success for players further dictated by item RNG instead of reducing it. In a world where a select few items on a key unit carry the game, the lucky players that happen across a rageblade, repeater cannon, warmogs, shojin's, and phantom dancer have a huge advantage over those that get multiple negatron cloaks, armors, and BF swords. In the game as is, this isn't a problem, as you will probably lose fights, and then get first pick on carusel for bows, rods, ect. However, with your suggestion, the game is simply dictated by whether or not you can roll the right items to win. going sorcerer because of the tier 3 TF you picked up but you never get the option of a rod or tier? game over, when in the original version, proper planning and strategy could allow you to succeed.

I like the RNG because each game is unique. If things were too controlled, I feel like everyone would just make Shoujins all game and spam pyke, kennen, akali.

instead place the champions with items in chests and let the players pick them, without knowing whats inside.

keep the mystery boxes random, but give boxes half to the amount of opponents on the field, with that i mean 3 minions = 1 item 4 minions is 2 items 5 minions is 2 items, 6 wolfs is 3 items etc.... so you get rewarded for playing good and defeating the monsters, you shouldn't be limited to picking between items on the field, sorting out which item you take costs time as well.
