playing with bots

im sure most of us have started out in bots, or go to customs when we want to try new champions...

what i wonder everytime i go to bots is how are these bots supposed to help us learn?

say i want to try out a new champ (today it was rengar) and i make the match 3v3 (one for each lane) and i run up to top lane before any team bots do, why is it that a bot will still follow me up to top lane instead of cover mid? why is it that a bot will steal my farm but not help me fight? they will just walk beside me watching while the other bots i fight work together in the fight...

it seems to me that playing with bots is nothing more than training you to have trolls on your team and teaches newbies to be trolls from the start without even knowing it, its just what they have learnt from the pre-made playstyle of bots (made by rito so a newbie will assume this bot is set to be able to perform in certain ways that would probably be considered "normal" )

so then you end up with things like, people stealing farm, taking top laners mid without understanding what it means, never learning how to jungle, not to mention how it teaches you to forget working with your team

you cant even ping a bot, it does nothing, ping a bot to fall back, nothing changes. so again, from the start, trying to work WITH your team is pointless, instead it teaches you to work around your team...in a team based game...to work...around...your team....ummmm...what?

this is a huge part of peoples learning experience and yet its so askew.

can we at least get an auto lane cover / equalizer for the bots? its annoying trying out any top laner just to have it be : top : 2 v 1 mid : 0 v 1 bot : 1 v 1
