Everything wrong with TFT
Yes, I know it just came out, but give me a second to express my thoughts. After playing many many many many many many many 500 years later many many many games of TFT i havent won. winning to me is 1st-4th and it shows a lot that I cant even get that far. Heres everything wrong with TFT -everything is so random making it unfair some games you get 10 items to start with sometimes you get none and instantly lose the champions you get in the shop are random, which makes sense, but has screwed me over so many times
-its very hard to change out your current party in favor of higher tiered characters
-you dont have enough time or room to do the thing listed above
-I find myself constantly stuggling to find champions I have. i counted 48 refeshes and I never again got fiora darius garen evelynn veigar varus or reksai once I got them to two stars
- the star system seems super steep. you either get it or you dont. I think it should be a level system instead. just like regular league level 1-18 and whenever you buy a character you can fuse like characters together. everytime you buy one of the same champions you level them up. etc. (I understand its just like auto chess, but better, but this could actually be a viable improvement. of course dont make leveling super op like one level = 100 hp and 15 damage)
-some champions are super unbalanced. I'm willing to let it go because the game mode just came out.
-the buffs for certain factions are either super bad or super overpowered. its so hard to kill nobles once they have their buff yet gunslingers basically just get extra attacks on other champions, which delay their normal attacks.
-the targeting system isnt the best. they just kinda fight whats in front of them until either one dies.
-some champions are really... weird to have. their playstyles dont seem to have much of anything and seem confusing. graves for example has a splash cone attack yet most of the time it misses everyone it hits. not to mention you never know who hes targeting.
-some champions cannot get around other champions to attack. this is not a bug. if your champions catch someone in the corner then all melee champions that are outside the curve of champions is useless until someone dies.
-items are too op. they give decent stats but their passives usually change the characters playstyle entirely. i was able to build a three star lissandra with tons of health and thornmail. they all would die just because they tried to 1v1 her.
-it doesnt feel very rewarding when played. you dont seem to get much out of it except the satisfaction of winning or the anger of defeat because the computer decided who won from the start.
-the circle of walking champions stages arent really good unless you find a super high cost champion, a good item, or someone you need, however, you most likely get these unless youre losing (which helps but not enough) and if you're winning then you're kinda stuck with hot garbage. I think that people should be able to pick a class and get a random champion from that class based on their level, if they do not want a 3 gold cost evelynn but instead want a 1 gold cost demon (if that exists) then they should be allowed to trade out and gain the two gold.
-items just... are clunky feeling. you get very few most of the time and your only chance is to hold off until you get a good champion and stack them full of items and instantly win after that. not really exciting.
-items should be able to be bought using gold in the event you dont get any you need or want or any at all
-in the future, more champions should be added. I know that goes against me trying to get more of the same character, but it'll make it less of an occassion for everyone. most enemies i face have a three star at level 4.
-some champion abilities should be altered. rengars ability isnt too bad but its not very interactive. he just jumps on you with increase AS and crit chance. maybe switch it to his ult where he leaps onto a backline target and deals extra damage and lowers armor. kindreds keeps champions alive at super high health and gives team invulnerable. it should stop damage below 20% health and heal for a small flat amount. graves ability now should be automatic but maybe change the active one to smokescreen. make it do little damage but reduce enemy accuracy by 25/35/45%
-the significance of stars of little legends is confusing. does it do anything or is it just for looks?
-there is just not enough time. you should be giving at least another 45 seconds on top of what you already do. just add a done button so people can move on quicker. for trollers, make it to where after the time thats given now (30 seconds?) if someone hasnt pressed done and hasnt made a major move (refreshed the store AND bought a champion/refreshed again) in 10 seconds, then it automatically starts and they lose gold/health for constant offenses.
-everyone should get a base amount of gold that is not based on level. makes people who are ahead have an even higher gold lead.
