Can anyone explain to me why Riot is making us manually pick up items now rather than just having them fly in our inventory like before? Just a waste of time and so pointless. Out of all the better features they could of added, they did this instead. Priorities.
Stupid and pointless
it is 100% to sell the overpriced little legend.
Involving it in the middle of the play field makes it more visible. Previously normal people left it in the corner and un-noticeable , while only annoying trolls ran it around. Now its a game play mechanic to drive up sales.
So you can get all excited about that 1-2 gold your got instead of an item....
Same reason you have to loot bosses in MMOs. Adds that extra layer of mystery. Except it's just annoying in this game.

Why do people talk about something being "a waste of time"?
You're playing a video game! If your time is really that valuable, you probably should stop playing.
Most likely an anti afker feature. People would afk the first 5 rounds and auto play, and only do things on the carousel rounds or after about round 11.
