What a lot of people don't get about balance/countering pieces

An alliance has a certain number of pieces which must be played in order to be competitive. Saying "this piece counters that piece" is not an adequate method of dealing with a problem in tft. You can't just build a comp that throws in random pieces to counter one piece on the board of 1 out of 8 players. This is why items even exist in the game! Every alliance should be able to win vs any other alliance- if they build their items correctly.

The keyword is SHOULD... im not saying its possible, but that is how it should work.

You mean all alliance should be equals in power. Well the experiences shows us that this is almost impossible to achieve in TFT because no matter how they nerf/buff units and synergies they can't balance: A > B > C > A

For sample: 4 rangers + poison > 6 glacials > 6 assassins > 4 rangers

Of course 6 shadow beat everything :)
