you have the entire time to do this while in champ select why do you need more time?

  1. having to look players up in op.gg to see if it's winnable or not.
  2. lack of rune pages, it's so annoying how many players get wrong runes / summoner spells in aram

this has nothing to do with aram.

Because as a jungler I want to see the entire enemy team composition before I complete my modifications. If 2 opponents are AP and the other 2 are AD whatever one the last person selects I will counter with either 6 Armor or 8 Magic Resist; also I want to see how much CC they have to decide between Tenacity or Bloodline, or whether they are tanky or bursty so I can decide between Conqueror or Electrocute as my keystone, are they fast? Should I take waterwalking or last stand or coup de grac, and what should my secondary tree have Resolve Demolish since they excel at team fighting so I must splitpush or inspiration since I need a stopwatch for diving towers or free boots/gold advantage and many other things

yet you dont just use 1 rune page, you have multiple which can be preset up for whatever KEYSTONE you will be running and just fine tune a rune or two in the last 30 secs is more then enough

suppose you dont have a preset rune page. or you want to play a different set up based on variables such as opponents, teammates, etc

well lets say you have 2 pages that you get free , and you have your main role/champ and your 2nd role champ? typically you will have a page set up for each. so there isnt that much adjustment needed.

and if you have more rune pages like most people then you have more pre set options.

champ select dont need to be longer. for the most part you have an idea of what you are playing and what you are playing against to make rune changes, if you are waiting til the last sec to do so then well that is not being prepared

it cant hurt to be longer, it even lets ppl go get coffee and not show up late (which happens more than it seems)

it dont need to be longer. you are grasping at straws .

also you might not know which champ you are playing until the last pick which gives you 30 seconds to figure it out which is not enough time

well you dont have a lot to change, you can have multiple pages set up and then pick the best and changed the 1 or 2 things you need to change

what if you are playing a champ you dont normally play though

SeaWeaboo1 votes

If you know what your champ does it should not take more than 15 seconds. It's not really that hard to click a few buttons.

Proƒyt2 votes

but i dont always remember what all the runes do

manolis2012 votes

Agreed make it either 45 or 60 seconds probably 45..

And if people complain about longer champ select times, they could reduce the pick-intend time. All i see it ever beeing used for is makeing sure your team doesn't ban your main. and you don't need 30sec for that.
