Hyper-rolling and Elo

I noticed that 3* level 1-2 units regain their power, can beat OP comp (inclusive summoner) and this is good.

But to succeed 3* units you need luck (less then 25% chance) with hyper-rolling unless they normally come (very low chance). If you don't have that luck you will be a little behind with interest after that hyper-rolling leading to less chance to win.

Till gold division Elo rating system makes you to win more LP for a win than a lose. Above gold 1 division Elo makes you to lose more LP for a lose than a win. So hyper-rolling become too risky in high divisions. Maybe that's why I saw so few 3* units in platinum and diamond "set 1".

So IMO if you want more fun don't climb so fast :)

Higher elo plays much faster and puts much more value into the early and mid game. The reason you don't see many 3 stars in high elo is because if you hoard your gold until after krugs/wolves, and don't level, you will get completely smashed by everyone else. And you'll finish a couple 3* units with only 40 HP left, and then still lose because you're 2 levels down and don't really have any synergies.

Actually I never look for 3 stars units, so I never hyper-roll unless I need upgrade to 2 stars. I'm always for interest and level up. Set 1 I reached Diamond and I barely saw 3* units so I concluded that my opponents did the same thing.

But now I'm silver and I saw so many 3 stars units. Set 1, 3 stars units was poor late game.
