You have realistically get one chance to select a character, If someone else takes it... there is no time to look and pick another... randomly assigned and game starts.

Its the same for the last curosel is they are only 2 players summoned for it.
You legit don't have enough time to do a full spin you bearly have enough time to go to the other side and take your item.
So if your oponen sits next to the item and takes it the last sec before you (bating you) you legit get a random item or the one next to it..
I do agree we need more time on the 1st and last once.
If your PC is slow you don't even get to pick.
Which is weird cause the rest of the game will run fine.

First carousel and time after the last set of people are released for it should both be increased. You can make it go down to 3s once everyone has their champion or whatever.
First round is terrible. Should be at least 10 seconds more. I've missed on a later round pick because I was last pick, someone nabbed the champ I wanted (seemed like they were intentionally trying to take the champ/item I wanted good strat so all good) and I had no time to even run to another.. Not cool.

They apparently just don't care. (Kinda like how they don't care about the unanimous hatred for random chance for items)
Fully agreed. I've seen it happen more than once that a player gets beaten to his first 3 picks and literally doesn't have time to pick one. Meanwhile we're given approximately half an hour to set up units for the first PvE rounds.
