Regular league gives you valuable rewards if you play enough, why not TFT??

When you play a game of summoners rift, you get XP, complete missions, and get honor points. All of these bonuses have a chance of giving you real value: blue essence as well as orange. Orange essence especially can buy skins or other RP costs.

In TFT, we get... icons?? The closest we get to "skins" is not LL themselves, but maps? There is no such things as honor or levels?

I hope in the future we can implement a system similar to SR, with levels, honor, missions, and chests that have the possibility of dropping LL skins.

You gain quests, XP, and LP from TFT..... You just don't see the XP.

Honor wouldn't make sense in TFT, since we aren't "Teams" and people barely speak....

You gain XP but don't see the XP? What good is that? In regular League, XP translates to capsules that gives me real stuff. Same for quests; you get tokens to buy real stuff. In TFT they give you icons, emotes, and maps... but no chance of "skins", as that would be analogous to LL.

And some people certainly do speak. Some of them are extraordinarily good sports, and I wish I could reward them for that. I obviously wouldn't honor someone who never spoke, but I'm sad I can't show appreciation for those who legit made the game more fun.

In SR, you do not get to honor opponents. You get to honor allies.

Yes. Some people are nice and others are toxic. There is neither a punishment nor a reward in TFT, because the game is 1v8, and everyone is an adversary, whether you like it, or not.

It's easy enough to make it so you can't honor people you queue with...

And League used to allow you to honor opponents. There's no reason in TFT that you shouldn't be able to.
