There is literally always a massive gap between the player doing the best and the player doing the worst, from the number of items, to the number of leveled units, to the size of an economy because of how much a player did or did not have to reroll to get virtually anything, and you NEED to close that gap a little. It's fucking frustrating to play so many games and see people get the most FREE shit and you get nothing. Why is this even still an issue that hasn't been addressed?

When i think back after the game ends, I can always identify the part where I can make a better decision to change the outcome the game.
Rarely do I see the 8th place person making the good decisions and the game is superclose throughout.
Aka 8th place needs to git gud.

Snowballed from there, ended up with shit tons of gold and decent items that fed a gunslinger/blademaster comp. And then I wrecked face. Won with like 60 HP. That kind of landslide really shouldn't happen. No one should ever get shit on by RNG in this game, and no one should ever be handed a free win by RNG in this game.

Youre just seeing your field and not what the others were doing, first of all, how many players on that game were going with the same comp?(brawlers / assasins / sorcerers, rangers / glacials /guardians, nobles...). The chances are that at least 6 players were competing between them for units on the rolls. Second, it depends on wich items they were building, you built a graves with 2 denials, do they had something like thats? were someone playing rnagers with 2 or 3 shyvs and guinsos? were someone with a 2 star cho with GA, morellos and yuumi / other item?
Very often, finishing 8th or 7th means you played bad, and very few times those placements happen by bad luck.

If I had a dollar for every time the game told me to build sorceres, and then after I did that it refused to feed me another sorcerer for the rest of the game I could hire an hitman to come to your house and tell you to fuck off. But I don't get a dollar for every time that happens so I guess I'll just stay poor.
