rito does not quite care just like a lot of people advised them to change the lp loss/gain system in upper leagues and rito just pretend they are not hearing
They've been working to make that happen less though? Like have you actually been reading the patch notes?
It's less simple than you'd think, because either they make it too predictable by removing the actual randomness and just making it a set cycle, or it can break near the end of the game.
I was playing ranked with a friend that loves TFT (I don't like it too much but I wanted to play because why the hell not). I was in the bottom 4 players but my comp was getting stronger so I had a fairly good chance of getting at least 4th place, I knew my comp was stronger than the 4th place and the remaining bottom 3.
I kept getting matched versus the damn 2nd and 1st places over and over again while the bottom spots kept fighting each other so they both lived with 7-6 hp while I dropped from 40 HP to 0 because I didn't get matched versus anyone I had a chance with. and thus losing me the chance at securing a spot. ended up 7th from being 5th because the bottom players kept fighting each other so they kept losing a little HP at a time due to having no units surviving while I got demolished 4 consecutive rounds vs the top 3.
It is really annoying and they should honestly make it so you can't possibly play vs the same player twice until you've faced against all the other players at least once.
In my experience you are often matched with people of similar scores to your own.
Happens It's a pain in the ass I know, but you seem to play a decent amount of howling abyss (aram), so it could just be you're queuing the same time

This game is becoming such a joke! How can a multi-million dollar organization be happy with a game that has broken mechanics to it. They release a new champion and he is over powered. The rolls system they have is a joke. The skill aspect of this game is quite low. Even winning I don't enjoy it that much. You know it was based around luck. Auto chess has done a way better job with this game. Honestly the team working on this should get canned cause they can not seem to make a decision in a good forward direction. Go back to your other styles of games and give up on this one RIOT.
