Hi, Hextech was a terrible idea
You guys can't find healthy balances for the things that already exist and you're putting more ridiculous nonsense in the game. I LOVE that.

yes hextech is a cancer and it should be removed, there is legit 0 skill involved in making it. its just fun killer this is what hex are.
there is legit games where you'r team is somehow do something because you gave the right items to the right champions. and the game was somehow balanced, with items +- = champs.
and you compeletely destroyed the aspect of itemization because well we can remove them all together.
I really enjoyed TFT, hextech killed all the fun. I hate it now. Lets just add more RNG elements that make positioning even worse. Don't corner with a blitz, cool i'm down, watch those assassins, neat I like it. O don't put any items with in 2 hexes of each other and regardless of anything you do you might just get your items silenced for 8 seconds anyway.
O but it stops those people who high roll items, you know unless they also build hextech, or highroll champions. Or your hextech silences the guy wearing an giants belt but completely ignores the assassin with 3 completed items that is even harder to position for because you can't put your shit to close together so they jump right on your carries, who probably had their items silenced.
It's fresh they will find the bad things and fix them it is not a bad thing becuase it gives you a chance to level the playing field against the players who stack everything on one person
And Hextech would not exist if not for the meta of throwing all your items onto one guy.
Not exactly an elegant solution to that besides reducing item slots per champ to 1 per Star.
The funny thing is Riot thinks theyre doing a good job and tft is in a good state currently. Shit is sad that they dont see how bad they ruin things in such a short amount of time
Hextech is a hit or miss in some cases. While I like it helps with people who tend to throw overpowered items onto one champ and or people who just seemingly love staking the same item onto one champ, it does hurt comps where items are needed to be balanced. While I don't think it should be removed completely, I do think it needs some adjustment. Instead of 8 seconds of silence, why not aim at 4 - 6 seconds of silence, but still keep it where it can hit more then one target. HOWEVER, the kicker I think should be is if it hits two or more champs, the one of the items off X champ should be un-silenced. It would nerf the buff, but also make it somewhat reasonable. Then I would buff Jayce and Camile since they are kind of weak. Jayce more so.
hextech is literally the death of all the fun, and they did not only introduce a terrible mechanic, but they had ALSO the super smart, genious, idea, of making it last 5 goddamn seconds. 5 seconds guys, this is like half or more of a fight, expecially in late game where if only one little thing goes wrong the entire comp gets insta deleted. imagine, you built the perfect ninja assassin comp, level 3 kennen with ga, morello, the perfect items for kennen, and guess what, they oneshot kennen because has not even more bonus hp from morello and does not even revive, guardian angel totally not existent for 5 seconds. good job riot x) as always, every new idea of this company gets smarter and smarter as the time passes!!! next update RIOT I want a comp or a void update where half of the enemy team just gets blocked into mordekaiser ultimate for 1 minute and cannot interact with the actual fight for all its duration, do it please it is SMART, FUN, AND BALANCED, exactly as you like ^^
On top of the fact that Hextech units are by no means "underpowered" to counteract the fact that their bonus is so strong, like how glacials are allegedly weak to balance the fact that they stun you for the entire match. Riot just doesn't know how to balance. It's proven in every game mode they've ever made.
true
hell yeah
