What will happen with set 1 ?

I don’t think “set 1“ will be forgotten after so much work: patches of balancing, nerf and buff, the effort of PBE players, feedback etc.

Also I know there’ll be a “set 3” because the rest of LoL units is waiting to be tested in TFT.

I have a feeling that you didn’t change a lot because some players got bored. This kind of players will get bored whatever they play.

So, RIOT what’s the plan for this game ? We’ll be a stable game with fixed units and synergies or maybe will be an option with set 1, 2, 3 and the player will chose what TFT set will play ?

Honestly it seems that Set 1 was mostly for beta testing, considering how random and awful it is. Set 2 looks much better, like they really learned from the errors of the first set.

Personally (unpopular opinion), Set 1 can just retire forever, because it is plagued by a lot of annoying RNG element and broken beyond redemption stuff. I won't mind that Hextech, Katarina, Akali, Blitzcrank, Noble and Draven etc. will disappear.

set1 champs will probably make a return for the future. Maybe not everything all at once, but the code is there for the devs when they need them.

Vayne, Veigar, Braum with same skin, stats and abilities will still be in set2.

They will rotate sets.... One season this, other season that, sometimes new, sometimes old.
