Was Season of elements a hard reset?

i peaked at plat 3 last season and ended gold 2.

this season i placed in this order, 3rd, 1st, 6th, 7th, 1st and placed bronze 4

is it just me or did it hard reset?

I think they said we'd get a hard reset.

Yeah, I ended Plat IV and started Iron II. After winning just 3 games, though, I'm Bronze III, so you should be able to climb back up quickly enough.

What are you guys talking about. Did the season start already? I thought preseason didn't have rankings?
