Filling friends, pick your slot.
As I gaze upon my friends list. I wonder why it is near full yet i recognize less than 20 names. I know some games I blow up the score so hard I'll get like 2 friend requests 7 honors and made to feel awesome. Only to play 1 duo with those people and never hear from them again. People I've added, didn't put into a group and haven't heard from.
It'd be great to get that random msg "yo, let' go climb". But I always have to hunt.
Found 1 club, not interested. Seems if I don't create my own active club I'll have little luck of finding an active one. Not sure yet.
For now I've done the easy thing I should have done a long time ago. Split my friends list into 5 groups. Top mid etc.
So keep it simple. I do play all game modes. I own all champs and can any of them. Main jungle and tanks. Though for the whole "lack of having a carry" sometimes tank is just a bad pick. I cant really play a tank that doesn't peak for 20 minutes when i expect all my lanes to spoonfeed the enemy gold faster than i could possibly gain it. So I toss in some yi, xin, tryn, vi. Somebody I can get out there with. But my bread and butter is tanks. League to me really isn't all that hard. You've got two teams trying to kill each other. And you know you have 1 person on your team dedicated to staying on the backline to deal the highest consistant dps. Just makes sense to me, the longer that ally adc stay's alive. The longer your team is dealing high damage. And the sooner we shut down their adc, the sooner the enemy deals less damage to us. As tank, I can sit on my adc counter engage. I can throw myself in for soft engage and fall back to protect. I can zone out enemy adc solo kill it, and let my ally secondary tank take care of the protection until we rotate position. To any tactical player, on pen and paper, or in head. League is a pretty straight forward game. Whichever 5 man team does a better job at position and teamwork, wins the end game. No amount of solo play will ever account for the other 9 players on the team, regardless of what every ignorant plat player wants to tell you. If they say "oh I carried myself in solo Q cause I am a god". They are lying. Even if they initiated strong team plays, they still had to rely on his 4 allies following through.
Here in solo Q, I can't rely on anybody to know their ass from their elbow. I don't trust any of them at any time.
One of the very basics of the game. Vision. I really have not seen any allies make consideration toward vision until S3-4. That means over %50 of the LOL ignores vision. And that is the possible player Q that I have to play alongside while I am camped in low silver. When I look at that alone.. I really can't see how riot can consider this ranking system to be balanced.
Done with it. Solo Q is just fucked. Season 6 is fucked. Some of the item choices riot puts out.. some of the champ state releases.. ridiculous. Long gone are the day's of the tank team winning because of everyone getting sunfire and chaining cc. No more tryndamere stacking ave blades. now it's "I picked zed yay! A no cost long range free farmer who only has to buy long swords for 350 gold a piece!" Doesn't matter if you win bot lane, enemy jng and mid will camp you, as well as enemy top. So while your ally is losing top lane cuz his top is being supported by the jungler who is being fed from bullying your lane. But as this bot lane who was the only lane worth paying attention to in 5 minutes. Now you have to deal with 4-5 man ganks for the next 20 minutes. This is why I can't duo bot lane. We win too hard, get focused, lose game.
riot "balance" say's. solo player's will fit around the dynamic, so as a duo bot we know we have solo players. Who in low elo, are often prone to feeding/raging/ or just terrible players in general.
TL'DR: Might form club in future for serious ranked players. For now, add friend or list below. Tell me which of 5 positions you wish to be identified as. I hope to form 3 player dyn games including myself, or those within club.
Really not lookin for kids. And you don't have to be 15 to be a kid.
