Matchmaking has a very clear pattern. S rank. S rank. Then matchmaking scrapes the absolute bottom of the barrel players and says "here try to get a win with THESE allies! MUWAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA!!!!" And then riot releases a skin and we pay them money for some reason.

Then after a forced loss or two, ty matchmaking for opressing rank. S rank. S rank.

Going in as a solo player. It's elo hell. has been for years. I main tank, usually support. 8 out of 10 adc's i get, completely disappoint me. When I am support it is easy for me to say "My god, if I were adc i would LOVE to have a support like this, that lets me poke but i'll guard my hp and win lane in 3-4 minutes.". I would love to pair with myself because I count cd's, i watch position and movement patterns. I track jungler. I know that an even trade is not a worthwhile engage, it's not worth risk. Not when I can calculate each move either poke or counter play. I know that my support picks are generic enough to fight any combination. And I know that eventually lane phase will end and it will be a 5 v 5 enviroment. So it doesnt matter that you have x x in bot lane for the first ten minutes. At some point you will be facing cc lockdown team, mobility team, ad dive team. And when that aspect kicks in jungler is needed to help support the adc. Why? You know why. Too many times I hear "wah wah, where are the wards? I can't see anyting!". First off, if you had any awareness of your own you don't need wards. minimap gives you enough information to have an idea of where the enemy is. And second, if you do need wards out support needs to roam and adc needs a guard. This is an example of a teamplay.

Once in a while in low silver I will see a teamplay. Most of the time it's just my allies seeing an enemy and running at them without any consideration of where the rest of our team is. You have got to love that jungler that forces a 2 v 4 engage while your team is split just because he can land his ult. Just because you CAN land a skill doesn't mean you SHOULD throw that skill. Bronze and silver games.. my god. Absolutely no teamwork down here, and %50 of players do not play their individual champion as I would.

I don't pick veigar because I havn't played 100 games with him and he's not my style. This is true of alot of champions. I main tank. That said, I own every champ and could pick up and play any champ. Another thing that kills my low elo games, champ select. LOL is brutal, this lack of teamplay carries on throughout all phases of the game. Champ select screen IS PART OF THE GAME. The end game timer may count at 35 minutes. But you spent 5 minutes finding a game and selecting champ masteries. These are your few precious minutes before launch where you get to coordinate with your team what will be picked and why. Yes you've picked jungle cause you've been going main yi. But then you get into a match where you have main mid yas, a riven top, a janna supp. Enemy so far has picked a darius counter riven pick, mu jungle, blitz support. You know that top will be needing ganks, you know mid wants your ganks, and you know that bot will likely need ganks if blitz lands hooks. The smart team pick here would be taking a sej, malphite, cho. Somebody who will fit your teams need for dmg soak and counter engage. Somebody who can get your team to 15 minute mark safely. This is what a team player would do. A smart player. A low silver player, would go ahead and take yi anyway and get blown up during teamfights. And gg team has no peel. Maybe support shoulda picked a little tankier as well, but meh, low silvers.

This crap happens all the time. When matchmaking pits solo's vs a dynamic. The dynamic will pick 2-3 champs that work together and they make plays together, and they skype to communicate better. And it doesn't matter how good you as a solo player are if you cannot get your team together to shut down the opposing threat. This game is not about "how good can I do to win?". If you ask that, that is why you lose games. It is MUCH more about "what do we need to do as a team to destroy enemy nexus?" Each game compilation will be different but the goal is always the same. Kill the nexus.

I've been playing for 6 years. I've had time to make mistakes recognize them and improve. Now it's in season 6 and I'm going in solo Q saying "ffs I would get a win, if these ppl around me would stop making the mistakes I've learned from 3 years ago.". I'm ahead of the curve but can't get out. Yes I used to say "oh wow havn't seen that champion before! Holy that play was awesome! I didn't know you could do that." Heh, those day's are past me. And yet, my allies just dont care bout ranked. They don't understand to stay alive, they don't understand objective priority.

It's hard for me to say I have much more room to grow when I play the same roles and champions that I've mastered. I don't roam from that. I'm not gonna go mid or top or adc. I own all those champs and runes for nothing. I'm a tank. I'm there to keep you alive and escort us to the obj. Something I cannot do when you arn't near me. Don't cry to me about not being there when I told you i was going to fountain and you engaged a fight near baron pit while I was en route (there goes another 22 LP tyvm).

If you checked, you would find I've posted a couple rants of this manner. I'm still disappointed. Ppl play one game and when we get our first loss OMG NOOB TERRIBAD NO WONDER YOU ARE LOW RANKED and i get harrassed for 2 days. losses happen.. that's why we need duos. That's why I need you to pick up the rest of the slack that I can't.

If bot starts to lose, get down and help. I don't need you to cry about bot losing, i need you to get down there and shove them our of lane.

To anybody that finds LOL an easy game flooded with noobs. Not only are you accurate, but you are my new ally. Add me. Don't laugh. LOL is easy. Minions will kill the nexus for you if you push the turrets out of the way. And your enemy won't get any stronger than you as long as you don't die. So as long as you don't die, your enemy cannot overpower you and you will eventually win simply by capitalizing on their mistakes and greed. That's just tank mentality perhaps. Or it's how everybody shold think? Either way. Let's carry some nubs. I'll win bot lane, you just go win another lane or two and we'll be good.

geezus another "elo hell" post. Kids these days need to take some statistics courses or realize that riot is not biased against their account specifically

Added you. I'm mostly ADC and yes I make some mistakes but I'm the 2 out of 10 (not the 80%) you mentioned.
