I think that if we made URF available only on Fridays, it would tone back most harassment and meta-pushing because it's only up one day of the week (and the most fun day of the week, too.)

Give people a reason to stay home playing League on a Friday.

No one will rage because it's only up for 1 day of the whole week.

No one will ask for it back when they know when they are able to play it.

No meta will be created because no one should really care. It's just one day out of every week.

It still requires them to make sure it works after every patch, and it will take up resources every Friday, which really limits what else you can do. I like the idea too, but I think these are the main reasons they don't have it available all the time.

And a meta would still form.

It's still guaranteed to develop a meta. There's no way to avoid that if it's available long-term.

this is the best argument ive heard for urf since march. This was like double xp weekends for h3, specialy playlists came around. I support it and possible only friday and saturday leaving sunday off for every 1s religions

Also, of course there's going to be a meta for it. We already knew the meta for this version after a year, it's not going anywhere over the course of 6 days.

Fun idea, but present it on its own merits, not as a miracle cure for everything wrong with the mode.

I think they should put up a random silly game mode every Friday. Maybe turf one week and one for all the next. Gives them a chance to reuse all the coolholiday modes they have come up with.
