★☆★☆ Fridays Only - URF ★☆★☆

I work on fridays. I don't work on saturdays. You have my support!!

I can understand not wanting the extra workload but my argument for this kind of thing is that they'll dedicate resources to keep Howling Abyss working (and it has its own queue, items, and whatnot).

I can't stand arams so in my eyes it's disappointing that they won't give the same type of attention to a game mode that's much more fun, in my opinion. Unfortunately the player base being splintered by another game mode is probably something they want to avoid, and the huge number of players might just be in part because the game mode is only available 3 weeks or so every year.

It's a shame, but if it was that big a deal to me I would just hunt for WTF mode games in Dota (does dota 2 have wtf mode yet?) Till then I'll just log in to League when URF is available and let it sit for the other 49 weeks a year.

Those Lvl 1 double kills are the best

Yeah, the main problem is the amount of resources this game mode takes up, it's very hard to maintain it. Fun mode, but it just makes everything else stop. It would be nice if it stayed as an April's fool mode each year, though, but I don't know how difficult it would be even like that.

Unfortunately, as the overwhelming majority of us would LIKE to "chill out", the people who honestly believe it is their guaranteed "right", so to speak, to win every match and have zero inclination to believe in actually being outplayed make a great deal of games as intolerable as ranked as far as teammate harassment is concerned because of so many different possibilities it would be a great INjustice against the playerbase to even attempt to cover them all. You...you can't can't!

Just because you have yet to encounter such spoiled players does not mean many others share in such luck and are fibbing about their experiences.

I saw one person get flamed during an urf game. After the game, he asked me if he played well, lol. I told him it was urf and he shouldn't worry about it. I also played an urf game where someone flamed me for not banning Zed, lol. We killed Zed... a lot :D But you know, I've actually been hearing a lot of the opposite. Players seem to be having a lot of fun playing urf and there have been a lot of people trying to get RIOT to make URF all-year round. I've also been invited to more URF games then other types of games and I've almost always been willing to accept. As much as I love URF, I have to say, I'm glad that RIOT isn't making URF permanent. I just feel that if URF were permanent, then players would start to take it seriously. URF should not be taken seriously and we should mercilessly poke fun at anyone who actually does.

If we do it one day a month, it should be a weekend. Saturdays work for most people.

Also, of course there's going to be a meta for it. We already knew the meta for this version after a year, it's not going anywhere over the course of 6 days.

Fun idea, but present it on its own merits, not as a miracle cure for everything wrong with the mode.

Tune down eve Q, remove zed's BS E CD reduction like they did to a lot of champions, up fizz E cd, reduce the ratios for blitz in half FOR ALL MODES(seriously have ppl seen the ratios on the stupid robot wtf), reduce morgana snare time FOR ALL MODES, alistar ulty reduces 40/50/60% dmg, there the mode is balanced now. Oh and inb4 shaco and invisible bs champs, just play safe until lvl 9 and pick red trinket seriously ffs how hard is it.
