Should the Azir bug be considered an exploit and thus bannable?

Azir is able to use his Sand Soldiers and his E to dash out of the spawn area before it unlocks. Potentially, he can do this and grab a mid CP before the 1:20 minute mark.

Pretty damn unfair.

Azir sends soldier over wall. Azir dashes to soldier.

It's kinda the focal point for his kit.

As it's not an actual intentional cheat, but just abusing a bug, it shouldn't be banned necessarily, especially since they have never said NOT to.

Do I think it's cheap? yes. Do I think it needs fixing ASAP? yes.

Do I think people should be banned for using a bug? No, not really.

Half of proper Rengar play for years was exploiting bugs, remember triple q?

can't rightly ban someone for doing something that riot put in their game, that would be similar to saying people should be banned for using health pots because it gives you back health and it's an exploit.

or banning people for soloing dragon lvl2 with pantheon/kalista

You are making an unfair comparison.

Level 2 solo Dragon is very tricky to pull off correctly, is very risky (you could get caught doing it and killed by the enemy jungler if they expect it, and then they steal the dragon kill), and thus is fair because it's such a huge gamble.

Azir dashing out of the spawn area before the 1:20 minute mark is completely unfair, and can't be countered. It was not something that was intended by Riot at all.

Really? For a champion being able to exploit the new dragon stacking buff by being able to take it at LEVEL 1 while you are busy clearing your first two jungle camps because his passive is broken with the new dragon interaction, thus providing a buff to his entire team at the beginning of lane phase, is FAIR? Please, just stop.

this is more of a champion interaction than a bug exploit. and, like said, there are ways to counter and stop this. there's literally nothing you can do about an Azir with free roam of the map while you're stuck in spawn, unless you're also Azir and exploiting the same thing.

Consider that while you're clearing your jungle and he's soloing dragon, you're generating more gold and getting exp faster. You'll have an edge in both of those areas afterwards, and chances are can probably get a few of his camps since he'll be starting his clear much later than you did.

Also consider that Pantheon falls off lategame harder than his ult from the sky. Sure, he gets an early advantage, but keep in mind that the first dragon buff gives +8% AD and AP, stats which at that early point in the game are so low you aren't getting more than a few extra points. It's not a buff that you're going to feel very much.

Level 2 solo Dragon is very tricky to pull off correctly

with fiora yes. its extremely tricky to alternate between dodging fireballs and blocking them with riposte. with pantheon is doesnt even require attention. he just needs to sit in place and spam skills and autos to have his passive up for every one of the dragons attacks.
