Is it possible for us to see Team Builder in ranked for season 5?
If it's a possibility this year, when? I don't want to play ranked unless it's with team builder.

Properly not. The idea of ranked is to work together and also the bans to limit each other.
yeah the old idea. Now we have team builder. Why go through that annoying process?
Ranked is that way for reasons, team builder was meant to please the casual community along with less serious matches.
There's virtually zero chance to have a team builder ranked mode. This is because ranked draft is what is used in the LCS. Ranked Draft is used because you get to utilize a banning system as well as pick champions off of one another. Team builder is basically selective blind pick where you can have duplicated champions.
Now what I wouldn't be opposed to is being able to queue up as a specific role. So you enter solo queue and click top lane to run in and get to only group up with people who aren't going to steal your role and still get the full draft system based on that. In fact I'd enjoy that tremendously, but that's also highly unlikely to happen because it would require very heavy code reworking to get it implemented. It's just not time or resource effective to introduce into the game. Though frustrating, the system isn't broken so you shouldn't try to fix it.
I've gotta admit though it sure is annoying to be last pick with the first two picks of the team being your preferred roles. So it would be appreciated.
