Can we just replace dominion and twisted treeline?
These game modes can't really be saved... Even if they consider taking the ideas of the community.

What benefit does removing those game modes provide? Any game mode Riot adds instead would suffer the same fate of dying from stagnation and lack of support.
i personally love twisted treeline, but have stopped playing due to bot overload. i don't see the harm of them being there and not being removed, plus i know a lot of people who still like the two game modes. it's a shame they've been left to collect dust
