A Master class MODE to bring the Divisions together. Learn from the best, and your friends!

In martial arts, each rank teaches the one's below it. It helps the young students and it reinforces lessons learned in the elders. I know a lot people say they smurf to help friends learn but what if there was a special mode where everyone could learn from other players expertise and it would help bring the community together.

A master class MODE would add one or two higher level people that would have enhanced ping and chat options that would assist in cross communication and marking objectives. EX: "I know you guys are thinking about it, but this would be a really bad time for you to Baron. None of my team is dead and there are only three of you ready with one mate dead. I also have wards here and here so I know you don't have vision either." There might also be hot spots on the map with hints for warding and jungling strategy. Seems like people have the hardest time learning how to jungle due there being no real practical atmosphere that isn't either fake like bots or it will get you flamed like on normals or Ranked.

There could be an incentive from Riot for helpful teacher honors or maybe just recognition through special banners and icons. It could also open up a new class of restricted skin for those with high honors. How about the champ you teach with running around SR rocking the High honors cap and gown. This mode would be designed for teaching teamwork and advance skills so you wouldn't be able to get your first win of the day off of it but you would have the opportunity to play with your friends on your own account and get something out of it as well.

It would just take a few tweaks on Summoners Rift and away we go. Newbs get something. Riot gets something, and the Class leader gets a few things.

Thoughts?

This makes so much sense. There's enough material/advice on how to reach Diamond, but applying it is incredibly hard, as evidenced by the large number of people who are not Diamonds. This mode would help people adjust their personal playing styles and give the most experienced players benefits for sharing things they already know.

this is an amazing idea.

I really want to learn how diamonds think and why I am not able to think like a diamond.

I like this idea. I would imagine it would be difficult to implement as a regular game though. Perhaps something more along the lines of utilizing spectator mode but in real time in it's own special queue.

Effin' 10/10

I love the idea. Imaginative and could help curb a little of the bad blood between divisions. Good way to train for ranked too, considering some people don't take normals too seriously.

i think the GENERAL IDEA to have somewhat of a mentor mode is very good but your concept does not fit my idea of how it should be.

i think if you have two "diamonds" on a team of golds, they allready have very different oppinions on the game and are very different types of players, thus, would make different calls and teach different ways. it is GOOD to learn from different mentors but its totally counterproductive if both of them try to talk something into you at the same time.

also, i think "teaching" an entire team without voice chat is very impossible aswell. it might be good to just assign ONE better player to one lower tier player so that player can teach him individually and get like "mentor levels" for it or whatnot and if your mentor level is high enough you get some bonus shit. but thats not important, you'd basically do it for the good of it and not for the reward.

like it would give you some kind of menu where you can enter all roles and champions you can teach and then the noobs can enter their role and champion they want to learn and they get assigned a mentor for that specifically and then the mentor can just talk to him and they also get the option to play "mentor mode", a ranked game in which they get placed in normal ranked matches just like duoQ but on the ELO of the noob and none of them will get LP from that so its JUST TO LEARN. (they will get IP tho).

PS: but i think its basically what you can look for on the forums aswell, so, well, just do that instead. i mean, im here to help people too and im not the only one. tho, just be carefull of people telling you what they saw in LCS yesterday. its not very usefull.

Togetherness does not seem to be a popular idea.

Cool idea but, do you really think this community can work together? It's really easy for the diamond player to just troll or flame
