Seriously. This bot problem have being going on since last season. Why would you not do something about that before updating the map? No one is going to play it if it's full of bots. I just left a game where both of my teammates were bots, they're literally giving free kills. Can someone do something about the bots For once?
If TT is more appealing to the masses - you're more likely to have humans playing... the likely hood of bots diminishes... and the likely hood of the bots getting reported increases... GG
These are very separate problems, being worked on by entirely different teams.
Quite aside from that, do you have any useful ideas to contribute for automatically detecting bots? Because that's where the problem is, filtering out the bots without any false positives.
How pray tell will they do that? they can't just ban people who are doing badly, they need proof and that takes time, so every bot will get a few games in before they have a chance to get enough data to react,
What makes you think that the teams that have anything to do with updating Twisted Treeline have anything to do with the teams that crack down on bots?
This is mainly an NA issue. If EUW or EUNE or some other region had this issue, would you still argue that the update should be postponed?
With that being said, I do think they should do something about the bots on NA, but I doubt it's the same team dealing with bots anyway. Maybe you could premade and stomp bots until you get high enough MMR to not face bots anymore?
also the team that does that update and the team that would be dealing with the bot problem are not the same. have you ever considered they could be working on both at once?
