Things to Increase the popularity of the other game modes.

Make the gamemodes more mainstream.
Like, even though 5v5 is awesome to watch, it would be amazing to watch tournaments for Dominion and 3v3. Probably wouldn't be as popular as 5v5, but was college basketball ever as popular as the NBA? Nope
separate first win of the day bonuses to each map. either add them on (tbh unlikely, that's a lot of IP), or spread the IP bonus across them all (preferably with a slight overall increase since it would require several wins rather than one), or, keep SR FW bonus how it is, and add a bonus spread across dominion and treeline. either 50-50, or one bonus for either mode. Maybe like a first win for SR/ARAM and a first win for dom/tt. I think ARAM is popular enough to not need its own bonus, and grouping it with the others would probably just take people to it instead of dom/tt.

spread fw bonus across maps - instead of a flat 150 for any win, split it between each mode. though I think it would only be fair to increase the overall bonus to say 200 (for easy math lol) so you could do 50 for SR, 50 for ARAM, 50 for dom, 50 for TT. That still seems like a lot of work, and would be a punishment for people who don't like other modes, so maybe have...

a smaller split, between major and minor modes - Instead of each map getting its own bonus, make groups that get their own. I think ARAM is popular enough to not need its own bonus, and grouping it with dom/tt would likely just take attention to it instead of them, so I would suggest a first win for either SR or ARAM, and a first win for either dominion or treeline. This could be done either by giving the alt modes group its own bonus, or by increasing the total and splitting it (say 100 bonus for main and 100 for alt, or 150-50, or however).

You're right, Riot does need to advertise these game modes more. It would be pretty fun to watch!
Listing them in the live spectate selection would help. Also featuring more different alternate gamemodes on them.
Just someone hosting an event with Dominion and 3v3 tournaments would help I think.
