(Just an idea in my head, curious what others think)

We all know that minions are the real heroes. They chug along the lane to their doom, over and over and over. These brave guys have had enough and now they want their time to shine!

Welcome to Winion Mode.

The premise is simple. You can purchase upgrades to the minions in each of the lanes. How does this work? Stop by the inhibitor and make a purchase. Each time you purchase an upgrade in one of the three inhibitors you increase the strength of the minions in that lane. Worried about losing gold to the minions? Not to worry. They use your CS score (or something else) as currency instead of your gold. After all, the more of the enemy you slay the more inspired your minions become.

Would add a nice strategic element to the game. Having to think "Do I power up my mid or bottom minions to stop the siege thats happening"

A few ideas for upgrades you can buy. These upgrades will probably only last like 2 minutes at a time, or a certain number of waves.

-Increased damage to towers. -Reduced damage from towers. -Double damage to enemy minions. -Half damage from enemy minions. -Increased movement speed. -Alerts when they see an enemy champion entering lane. -Thornmail when enemy champions hit them.

Just thought i'd share a few ideas I had that would make this a fun game mode.

I was thinking there should be temporary buffs and perma buffs. If the mode is Winions it should mean the minions are doing some heavy lifting. I do like the elegance and simplicity of just temp buffs though but I feel it wouldn't add enough to make it a truly different game mode. I would love to see the ability to buy extra siege minions. Up to 2 per wave every wave not just 1 out of 3. I think they could also have ability buffs too like when doom bot amumu was around and gave them his ability. They could slow champs with their attacks and more. Make the minions terrifying! I do worry that it would add too much snowballing potential though.

Would champions still do damage to structures? I'd like to see something along the lines of only minions being able to push down enemy objectives. It'd really open up a different meta... Protect the creeps, buy for them, and try to defeat your opponent's creeps.

I was thinking more of something like the 5 guys in a team play as siege minions

Not different enough to be a new game mode but too different to be implemented,. Cool Eadie though. The closest you can come is, . they all make there own unit's except Veigar who looks like a super caster minion,

Riot in its infinite wisdom has 3 latin servers, and one NA server. super duper smart. Why do they have 3 servers....they don't even have clean water.... Us east coast players are stuck playing at 130-140 ping everygame. I switched to LAN and play at 40 ms...guess what? i jumped up a whole tier...and im still climbing. The pros are Cali in for the ping while Riot gives a middle finger to the rest of us. I made the realization that they aren't good....they are just at really low pings.

I thought i was going to be mions vs champs you have to fight twice the # of mions with no mion support with the occasional with supper mions throne in.

If you loos an inhibitor then you get 4 supper mions if you loos all of your inhibitors then every mion becomes an supper mion. The story the mions are po'd and you have to stop them from rebelling.

Oh and have Dragon and the other jungle monsters jion the minons every time a turret falls.

"Winions" Maybe where you can farm enemy minions,and kill as usual,but you can't hurt the towers. Minions deal 2x dmg to towers, making the game pin on whether or not minions can reach enemy towers.

or too make it even more miniony take out the small melee and caster minions and start the game with all siege and super minions. still waves of 6 just takes a lot more to bring them down early

I really would play this game mode it seems fun and new..... lets say its permanent the upgrade you buy for the minion at the inhibitor. "the cs score" is it shared by everyone or you can buy from your own cs score or what ever currency you have. otherwise cant you have one overpowered lane? or keep purchasing minion upgrades and pushing the same lane. If its shared which i assume it wont haha. how does the team determine the upgrade to buy or who buys it.

All of these posts for game mode suggestions make me think it may be time for Rito to think about adding in an arcade and game editor, much like Blizzard has for Starcraft 2.
