COLOSSEUM! Death Match mode. Give them what they want.
I see a lot of people talking about killing in modes like URF. I have seen people get mad because I am beating on the nexus even in normal games cause they are enjoying beating on a team and don't want it to end. I think that says something about how often they must win. But I wondered if I was in the minority. If people like fighting so much why not give them a second way to win in a special mode.
How bout a Death Match where there are only Nexus and Inhibitor turrets. The minions still lane as normal but since there are no turrets to protect you from ganks the early game is way more chaotic. I also thought that maybe the normal turrets would blow up after a certain time in the game to at least give you a laning phase. People automatically start off with upgraded trinkets.
The big part of course is if you don't want to focus on the nexus You can just kill kill kill kill to X number of kills to win the game. In a normals game I have been a part of games that have over 60 deaths on each team. An alternative could be as many kills as possible in a certain time frame. I would prefer ONE MODE where you knew how long the match would last, RIOT. I would love a new map or a reskinned stone map of SR to fit the game mode.
I only have a 30 minutes before bed, better just play a 30 minute death match.
In closing: Options and rules. Nexus Option 1: No Nexus. Option 2: Destroying Nexus gives permanent AS, AD, and AP buffs.
Turrets Option 1: Turrets depart after 10 or so minutes opening the field up to a world of carnage Option 2: Turrets stay: Destroying turrets gives a damage buff to one side for X time to help with the KILLING!
Misc
- No limit to the amount of stealth wards per person.
- Increased movement speed
- CDR CAP increased to 60%
- Passive gold increased (Less than URF. I don't want people to focus on CS in a mode like this, but I want to be able to shut a team down. Dying should be detrimental)
Win X number of Kills or the team with the most kills @ 30 minutes wins.
What do you think?
