Whining about matchmaking

I'm silver 4. This is my first season. I'm not the best player, but I'm learning.

Why then, does this game put a gold 1 duo team in my silver iv solo queue when my team does not even get a duo team? I thought duos were supposed to be matched harder.

Are you sure they were gold 1? Seems a bit off, but I can see a Gold V player being on your team if their true MMR was low enough.

Matchmaking for premades is seriously messed up.

In this game I was on the same team as a Manamune-rushing Garen vs. a gold 3.
