LCS Dominion and ARAM?

Just what if lolesports started promoting and broadcasting professional Crystal Scar and Howling Abyss matches? Just some how. Maybe like a half time show, maybe a few games after the standard rift matches are done, something like that. I would imagine it would be something interesting to do, such as all-stars last year when they mixed and matched pro players to form 2 teams, or how they promote URF mode every year. Dominion is such an overlooked game mode--for varying reasons you can argue perhaps--but it would be interesting to see it incorporated into the LCS in some way. Same with doing pro aram matches. (Hope i put this in the right board)

I'd like to hear some thoughts on this :3

We need ranked modes for them first lol.

ARAM's a possibility, since it's straightforward and decent-looking. Dominion matches are unlikely, as the map is graphically outdated. There's also the issue of Dom's gameplay being radically different from every other game mode. Anyone participating in a show match on the Crystal Scar would probably need a crash course in the map to avoid giving off a faulty impression of the mode.

I'd rather see TT than ARAM, but I'd definitely like to see non-SR maps getting played in LCS, whether by current pros or new teams (SR pros are bad at dominion), and even if they were just small tournaments or exhibition matches for exposure. Putting them on during LCS would definitely help with increasing player population of them. Hell, even just streaming some community-held tournaments on the official Riot Games Twitch channel would be nice.

pro ARAM would be the weirdest thing, considering it's random

Anyway any map added to the LCS would help it a lot

Dominion yes, I would absolutely watch a full tournament scene of that. It's so hype.

ARAM I'd maybe enjoy the occasional exhibition match. Definitely couldn't be done as a tournament because of the randomness, it would take a best-of-999 series to get accurate results between 2 teams.

I always thought it weird that Riot didn't jump straight into promoting Dominion tournies.

As something to watch, it is WAY more exciting than the snooze-fest of watching pro-level Summoner's Rift games.
