@Riot - Could League Factions ever become a mode?

League Factions is a really cool thing that allows a player to engage directly with Lore. Rioters have said before that they are aware of Factions and that they are fans of it.

Can League Factions ever become a mode in any form? Even a limited form, like pick a faction at the beginning of the season and stick to champs of that faction without actual storytelling tied to it? Maybe as a featured game mode (though I would prefer it being a permanent queue)?
