I'd argue this Shurima event was the one they wanted to give us last fall though. It got pushed due to tech stuff so they likely synced it with Taliyah so it wasn't as random.

It's not really a shurima event what they are doing,its just some updates for the lores,which isn't really considered an event(similar Targon wasn't considered to be an event).

Also I'd say that since the void has a very eldritch vibe it actually fits that we have barely any idea of how it is like.

Wait what? When was the first Shurima event? I thought the first was the one in September 2014.
