Skin Voting

So the last time you let the community "vote" (I put that in quotations since Riot was actually asking which one we wanted, not necessarily voting, but it might as well have been voting nonetheless since they asked for our input) on a skin for a champion, that being the three Illaoi skins, you completely ignored everybody and went with Dreadnova despite the fact that everybody openly expressed wanting the Deep Space Illaoi skin.

Are you going to ignore us again or actually take the votes. I just want to know before I decide to go ahead and waste my time again.

They did take a vote, and the most popular skin won. The most verbal support of a skin doesnt mean it's actually the fan favorite. You also took more time out to bitch about this than it would have taken you to just vote for the skin you wanted and move on.

They didn't go with Dreadnova........because Dreadnova wasn't one of the options, silly. It was Battlecast (though it's name was later changed to Resistance)

What possible reason could there be for riot to conspire not to give players the skin they wanted so they could sell more of them? You honestly think there's an executive somewhere cackling about giving you a skin you don't want so they can make less money?

Sometimes, I wonder if God gave common sense to anyone...

You don't understand voting. Voting is not whoever screams the loudest, wins. Voting is whoever gets the most selections from the community wins. While there was talk of Deep Space Illaoi, there was A WHOLE SHIT TON MORE talk about Battlecast. Battlecast was what really got people excited here on the boards, and while Deep Space did get some people chatting about it, it was completely overshadowed.

So for this one, I've seen a SHIT TON of talk about Sugar Rush Tristana. Like a lot of it, and people seem to have the same consensus - it will deliver the newest experience for Tristana that none of her existing skin touch on. I've also seen people excited for the Galactic Gunner option as well, but not nearly as many as I've seen for Sugar Rush.

Tbh I’d love to see an Olaf,sett,and cho gath pajam season 4 skin!! It might sound weird yeah but would it be that bad? It sounds kinda cool tho

What I am accusing Riot of doing is acting as if they care about what their fans want in a skin by presenting us with an opportunity to voice which skin we want, only to ignore the overwhelming opinions which they themselves asked for, and go with the option that fans didn't select in opposition to the ones that they did. It's passive-aggressiveness at its finest.

Sometimes I wonder if God gave reading comprehension to anyone...
