I know the current lores for champions of League are being updated and all....but

What i really want to know is, is there really going to be any progression in the league universe at all?

Don't get me wrong, i love that lore is being updated, but i feel it's still frozen in time. I mean the Jinx and Vi lore kinda killed it for me. Nothing was mentioned that would somehow connect the two and it doesn't seem like things are moving in motion. As I said, I'm not trying to diss the lore. I'm only worried about the way it's been handled so far. It's just been giving new clues that leave more plot holes for already existing legends, rivalries, and tales. And the demacia update is coming soon....Is it going to give us more info on the region itself or actually progress things? I caught on the hint about Jarvan 3's passing but....that seems like its about it...

The Shurima story moved forward after the release of Taliyah .

Nasus, Sivir, and Taliyah had an encounter with Xerath, and Nasus became confident in the idea that he can redeem Renekton instead of killing him.

And no one seemingly met Azir yet. Even though he is the center of things happening right now. Shouldn't sivir or Nasus have met him by now since he has had people take refuge in the city?. Yes stuff did happen, but we were shown only the outsides of the hurrican, while the eye stayed put. I really feel like Azir should of had some "screen time" in that story.

And I'm mainly taking about Zaun or Targon. They HAD to do over shurima after that first release of it. That's why it had alot going for it. What about Piltover and Zaun? What just recently happened there? We don't know. And that's what I'm getting at. Bilgewater was the most asked to be fleshed out, so it got fleshed out along with two stories. They also said they weren't doing that again.

But tbh, nothing feeling like it's moving. Maybe certain parts of runeterra like the ones i mentioned above. But not much.

There was the Progress Day story, telling that a Noxian made it into one of the clans in an attempt to find and steal secrets from them. This could surely lead to some future conflict.

Same with The City of Iron and Glass. What if that woman's the one that Jhin's hunting for because of her Ionian descent or having any Ionian connections?

Sivir met Azir. She was one of the reasons he was set free and he in turn saved her life if I remember those cinematics correctly.

I brought this up in a reply to someone else but I'l say it again for your sake. First we have the Progress Day story following several Noxian warmasons trying to infiltrate one of the clans of Piltover. So we know for sure Noxus wants Piltover's secrets. Then, in Camille's story Tea with the Grey Lady, you see Camille interrogating two guys about an explosion on the docks. In The Thrill of The Chase, Caitlyn hunts down a Zaunite thief who'd been stealing hextech parts for an illegal weapon that he was going to sell to someone. Then in Vi's story Interrogation 101, you have Vi interrogating that thief, but that's not important. What is important is when Vi asks where Caitlyn is, she is told that her partner is investigating an explosion at the docks.

So all this could be about Jinx but her first appearance being Roguery Night and the fact that she marks her sites to make sure people know they are her doing, makes me think its not her. Otherwise there would be no need to interrogate anyone about who did it. So more likely in my opinion, is that all this is tied to Noxus.

So that right there is a little story progression building up to something going down in Piltover.

if that hints jinx first arrival, then thats nothing new at all. Progress day did slightly progress. But that's about it. Nothing compared to Shurima and Bilgewater

But still, if Bilgewater and Shurima got major story progression its logical to think Zaun and Piltover will at some point.

Well, during the Bilgewater event, the lore for those made a HUGE advancement if I know correctly. Perhaps Demacia will work the same way...?

Targon was slightly propelled forward with Pantheon's short story. He is going to meet Aurelion Sol who is returning to earth, so when next we see a Pantheon story, expect some proper progress.

Didn't Jhins story ended with him making his way to Piltover/Zaun? Who are his target? He allways kills 4 people in a region and I suspect that 1 might be the ionian princess mentioned in a new Zaun story. And maybe Shen is following him? Than we also had some informations of a chem-baron who hired Evelynn to kill another baron. I can imagine that Camille is going to intervene in some of these assasinations too. So yeah, I feel like in Piltover/Zaun is also something to look forward to.

As far as I can see, Jhin doesn't even have a story yet, and his bio says nothing about Piltover and Zaun. However I know Graves and Twisted Fate were headed there.

Tbh I don't see Jhin ever coming to Piltover or Zaun (though it would be interesting if he did). I think its more likely we'll see something with Noxus infiltrating maybe even to do with Urgot as I feel he's a valid candidate to have over see such a thing. We got the Progress Day story that was about Noxian warmasons. Then several other stories with Vi, Caitlyn and Camille seem to be building up to something. In her story, Caitlyn chased down a Zaunite thief who'd been stealing hextech to make a weapon for someone. Vi's story had her interrogating that thief while also mentioning that Caitlyn was investigating an explosion at the docks. Then one of Camille's stories has her interrogating two people about the dock explosion. Originally, I thought all this was about Jinx, but with her new lore, I think Noxians are more likely; unless this is Jinx's first antic even before Roguery Night.

Huh. Why isn't this on his Universe page? But still, this kinda gets me excited. I just hope it doesn't take away from Jinx's spotlight. Though it could be cool to see an interaction between them and maybe even add to Jinx's spotlight if done correctly.

Also, with all the threads I've seen about Jhin coming to Zaun and Piltover, why hasn't this come up at all?

I'm pretty sure they plan on progressing the stories but they do have to finish getting all the lore up do date before they can properly do that.

I dont think that the Galio quote means that Jarvan III died (Unless you are talking about the Legendary skin that is not canon)... I mean its possible that Galio meet the King when he was younger.

They do plan to progress stories eventually,thats pretty much the reason why they made the bilgewater/shadow-isles event,because they wanted to show some progress before starting to update stuff properly.
