Taric Question

The only thing I don't understand about Taric's exile from Demacia is why his "family" did not do anything at all as in no one from his family bothered to follow him? Or tried to inquire about his whereabouts? They just let him disappear just like that? What kind of family is this? If I was his flesh and blood, like a brother, I would have followed him, no way I was going to let him die out there.

Likely because his family also saw him as a dishonor of their house.

Also Taric was willing to climb the targon, which is thought to be pretty much a death sentence.

People in societies such as Demacia, that honor and adhere to strict rules of conduct and justice, follow and believe in the tenants of their society. Even though someone who breaks those tenants may be blood related, if you have spent your entire life believing these tenants to the point that they're core to your views of society, you would believe that the person who breaks them deserves to face judgement and be punished accordingly. This is why any family Taric has did not step up to follow him, because of their societal views and the fact that they're also a noble house in Demacia, meaning their livelihood, their fortunes, their political power would absolutely be destroyed if they stood up for their relative whom the rest of society has branded as dishonorable and worthy of death.
