Bandits in Valoran

Fighting bandits in Skyrim is generally easy, but the way they are presented gave the game some nice flavor. Fighting a guy who's going "Why don't you start running so I can stab you in the back?" is very satisfying, especially once you've driven your big battleaxe into the guy's torso.

That said, I don't think League does enough to portray bandits, brigands, etc. Demacia could really get fleshed out if its patrols end up fighting the occasional bandit raid, or Riot showed a cutscene or two with some travelers getting waylaid by brigands.

Oh, and for the purposes of this thread, the Winter's Claw (Sejuani's tribe) doesn't count. Neither does Bilgewater.

Any thoughts, Riot?

I'd like that the introduction to Reworked Taric to be him protecting people from a bandit raid. He is a paladin after all

I think that bandits and thieves are currently a problem in Ionia. The nation suffered an invasion that was barely repelled, likely at the cost of many civilians and soldiers, their economy might be struggling after Noxus took what it needed and trampled the rest, and there are likely a number of people just pissed off in general.

Some may think that the damage could have been lessened or avoided entirely if more immediate action had been taken, thus the exceptional number of individuals who joined Zed preaching of the wrongs inherent to "balance." I would not be surprised if Ionia is struggling with leadership, considering its government was divided among regional elders who may have died during the invasion. To top it off, the Kinkou Order that worked to ensure harmony across Ionia, which sounds like state security to me, was nearly destroyed and is beginning the slow process of recovery. Not to mention the number of suddenly armed civilians who took up blades to defend their homeland, who may have previously had no access to weapons at all; when a farmer's farm is destroyed, he probably is not keen on starting from the bottom all over again, and banditry seems the easier and immediate alternative.

Also, Syndra is trying to start a one-man war against Ionia's remaining elders.
