I am surprised at how wonderful Mordekaiser's new lore is

From his rework, to his title change, fans were worried that Riot would take away his metal theme to make him into a necromancer. Instead, they kept all of it and turned his story into one of the most metal pieces of fiction in the lore.

In life, he was a king. A badass king. Possibly a one-man army as he went out and conquered. He died fighting off an entire army, laughing as he was slain. He comes back to life, and goes on to build another castle in what's now Noxus. Even though he loses that castle, he goes on to build another one in the Shadow Isles. He's now a king there too, free from the influence of the Black Mist. He even has the nerve to look down on the others because he chose this life.

He isn't just a dark knight, or a necromancer. If he needs to, he can just choke a man to death, and make him his slave.

If this is the type of story Riot came up with, I can't wait to see what they do with Jax.

The one plot point that wasn't explained well enough: why did they STEAL his skull instead of just destroying it?

Honestly the entire Rework up until the Lore update has been one heart wrenching Disappointment after another. The fact that they just keep nerfing him doesn't really inspire hope for his future
