Question about Leona's whole "only Sunlight is good light" view

I wonder how much Leona actually knows about the EM radiation spectrum

Technically I think Luxs power is from sun, well it's rainbows so sun shining off water. After Leona got the power of some ancient being she had some major realization and it is inferred that she understand Sun isn't the only good light. And she desperately need to find Diana.
