First there is the 4 elements everyone knows avatar style:

Fire Earth Water Air

Than you can combine 2 to make a new one

Fire+Earth= Magma Fire+Air= Thunder (or storm) Fire+Water= Dark (?) Water+Air= Ice Earth+Air= Dark (?) Earth+Water= Purple...

Did Lulu just create a new element or? Maybe it's something like mist? I don't know...

Elementalist Lux has 10 forms, Light, Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Ice, Magma, Thunder, Darkness and the mighty Purple!

Looking at the picture it goes:

I think the water/earth combo is mystic/fairy/magic type. In her ult there are butterflies.

It might be represent flowers/plant life. I mean that is a logical combination of earth and water(as plants need both) and it does look like her outfit consists of petals.

Though her earth-outfit looks already pretty plant-like so I could be wrong about this.

Purple is darkeness/anti-light. I think a majorly black outfit would have been a bit too brutal for our lady of luminosity. Now she still looks fab as fuck, but with a edgyness to her. Like a punk rock prom queen.

Ok I watched the Brofresco video on the Elementalist lux and I think. I understand now.

Here is the combos (IMO):

Start off Dark or Light.

Pick a element once you have the power.Become said element. First transformation.

Pick element once you have the power. Become the combo elements. Final transformation.

Base choice : Dark or Light

Transformation 1 (Dark or Light):

Base choice + element = element

Transformation 2 (Final Transformation)

Transformation 1 + element (includes base choice) = Final

Here is what i thought:

You start as light, since it's light that has to go through the prism to become something else.

Than you chose an element: Fire water earth or wind

Than you can combine the said element to make a new one. If you combine two oposite elements (fire+¨water or air+earth) you get nothingness, wich is darkness/chaos.

Water+Air= Ice Fire+Earth= Magma Fire+Air=Thunder/Storm Water+earth= Mystic Fire+Water= Darkness Earth+Air= Darkness

This way all the possibilities are covered.

So you get 4 base elements, 4 combined elements, light as the starting element and darkness as a possible final form for 2 possibilities.

Darkness being a starting element wouldn't make sense since combining air+earth or fire+water would have no result, and we can see in the teaser that chosing an oposite element IS possible:

If you look at this video, Lux choses earth but still has the possibility to combine with air since the icon is colored the same as water and fire (at about 20s).

It could be cosmic Or arcane? I noticed with her ult in the very short preview there was butterflies in it. So it made me think fairy? Maybe its nature just not green lol.
