i was expecting him to be on it but i really just noticed now that he wont be having a section, despite being shuriman and having special interactions with taliyah and how the void seems to be being more relevant in the lore updates
does this mean that theres gonna be a void one?
Sharjo2 votesHe is, but he's much more invested in the Void than he is in Shurima. When/if they do a Void centric region lore update Malzahar will definetly be in there.
Remember, birthplace =/= current regional affiliation. Sona, Taric, Aurelion Sol, Fizz and Poppy are all testament to that.

My guess is that the rise of Shurima hasn't really affected him, let alone whether or not he is still living there or Icathia after his corruption. They can still to an origin story, but its center piece will be about the void, not his old home.
