This Year's Pool Party Skins?

Who wants to guess who's getting Pool Party skins this year? Who would you guys like to see get Pool Party skins? Do any of you have really neat concepts for Pool Party skins?

For me, personally, I'd really like to see Riot take Lux from the Pool Party Miss Fortune background art and turn it into a skin (I understand Lux just got her Elementalist Lux skin, but I can still dream, right?). I just think it's too cute to not turn into a skin. Haven't thought about the type of particles I'd like to see yet, but here's the picture:

Taliyah and Nami are two others I'd like to see get Pool Party skins. It's high time for Tal to get a skin. I think her kit, as well as Nami's, are too perfect to not have a Pool Party version of.

Like, for instance, Taliyah's Q can throw water balloons, and her W could be a wave of water that knocks someone up. Her out of combat movement speed could be Tal riding on a boogie board, and her ult could be something similar to this. Thought about a surf board on top of a wave, but I've been told that's too far away from the Pool Party theme. Not too sure on the E yet.

Nami's R can send a wave of rubber duckies or poros riding on boogie boards or something, and Nami can say, "Surf's up!" I've always wanted Nami to have a skin that says that when she ults. xD Ebb and Flow could maybe be water that has tiny fishy toys (or other squeaky pool toys) in it making cute little blub blub noises. Not sure on her E. For her, Q, I was thinking Nami could blow a gigantic bubble with a bubble wand/staff that she holds and capture people inside of it. If she's successful in capturing enemies in it, her laugh could go off immediately (or sometimes...to spare people's sanity).

I dunno why everyone has to bring this up whenever looking at new skins for her... it's been 8 months, that's plenty of time for them to have had something else in the works.

Champions that are not Riot's favorite (aka Ahri, Karma, Draven, Thresh and Tryndamere for some reason) have to wait waaaaay much longer than 8 months before they start designing stuff for them. I doubt we get something for Lux any soon, especially as follow-up after Elementalist.

She has 7 skins (just like Ahri), Star G was in 2015 and Elemental was 2016. She's pretty popular by the standards of their skin releases.

Even look at Sona, her DJ was 2015 and she got a sweetheart in 2016.

8 months is nothing when you compare it to other champions. There are multiple champions who have not had a skin for 5 years and aren't getting a VGU any time soon.

Because you and I both know that if I don't soften the blow, then some Yorick/Mordekaiser/insert-champ-that-needs-new-skin-here main is going to waltz right into this thread with self-righteous attitude and cry, "How dare you even consider a new skin for Lux when she JUST received that Elementalist skin last year when insert champion here hasn't received a new skin in years?" Happens more often than ya think. It's like we're not allowed to throw out ideas or support ideas for our favorite champions or something.

EDIT: Oh, I see something like that has happened already in this thread. At least it was to a less of a degree. I tried to prevent it. Can't please everyone. :( shrugs

I do want my Yorick skin though... been waiting 6 years but still XD play rate and such is what determines more of how Riot chooses who they make skins for sooner than other. He is indeed going to have one sometime soon they said, but still others that have a lot will continue to get more than someone like him does.

It was kind of like the same thing that happened with Sona too. She got DJ in 2015 which was an Ultimate then 2016 came around and there's a Sweetheart too kick off that Holiday. So I still think Lux could get another one sometime soonish. Just like hell Riven/Yasuo could see one sometime in the next year even though they just had Legendaries in the past month.

Though overall I'm waiting on many skins to happen, like that last few from the leak (twitchwithparticlesplz)

She did get the largest skin we have in the game. And as you said, she has a good deal of skins.

Its okay for you to throw out ideas or support them, but I do not think Lux deserves yet another skin after how freaking massive of a skin E Lux was.

Before you call me bias, I have and use E Lux. I am not just bias towards Lux.

There are a lot of pool party skins in these splash arts,so I wouldn't count on them being a hint for future skins. Ahri Braum Aatrox Diana Darius Garen Jinx Katarina Lux Morgana Nidalee Orianna Tryndamere Vayne Yorick and more.

Had to dig around for it, but it was in the 06/27 PBE update http://www.surrenderat20.net/2017/06/627-pbe-update.html

We just had Versus event, SKT skins come out 07/05, and Rift Rivals started... so might not have Pool Party, maybe we will. Saw the chromas though.

Summer lasts until the end of September though. Pool Party skins have been released in June-September in the past so we have plenty of time to see something more than just the upcoming Chromas.

No, September is Autumn. Autumn lasts from September to November. Winter is December to February. Spring is March to May. Summer is June to August.

Like I already said, who knows... maybe we will see something, but chromas are the only thing coming out right now.

Leaves are turning and it cools down before then. People can come up with official dates for things, but that doesn't mean summer actually ends on a certain date every year. I suppose you just read and digest whatever you are spoon fed.

You know nothing about seasons. The Equinoxes/Solstices for each season are the final days of the season and the happen around the same time every year (the 20-22 of said months). They are even printed on Calendars.

You are talking from your perspective. Like I said I'm pretty sure it's American thing. If I Google this in my language it's said that Summer is only June, July and August.

Moreover, it is quite cruel to call September summer. Cause where I live summer ends in August and in September we have only rains. With cloudy and pretty autumny weather. For us September is not Summer.

Look, in my country we even have "Babye Leto" which translates as "Grandma's Summer" or "Woman's summer". It is at 20th of September. And it the time like kinda second summer for a week. The weather not being hot, but being warm. But prior to that it's pretty cold , no sun, rains and etc. So 4th of September is not summer for us. And I live in Northern Hemisphere

Yes it's your perspective. Cause if you are releasing skins about summer time and pool parties in September at 15 degrees Celsium it's just a big middlefinger to players. It's like releasing Christmas skins at 20th of January.

That time is called summer, cause it is second summer, not continuation of old one. It's not hot time, it's time where it barely gets +20 degrees C. So it's not summer.

Riot has already done it in the past.

Pool Party Ziggs, first pool party skin was released on September-04-2012. The Second set containing Leona, Lee Sin, Graves and Renekton was released on September-11-2013. So still indeed Summer.

That time is called summer, cause it is second summer, not continuation of old one. It's not hot time, it's time where it barely gets +20 degrees C. So it's not summer.

Still not making this any better for yourself. That's still 68 degrees F which is HOT.

Keep trying if you must.

68 degrees is not hot at all, lol. That is Autumn weather. Where do you live that a crappy 68 degrees is hot? Hot is 80-100 degrees.

Again (using your beloved and devoted google), this is jacket and Autumn weather. Unless you live in some dry arid climate where it is hot all year (basically the SW USA), then September isn't hot nor is it Summer. : )
