Will we get endings to lore?

Like this is a repetitive game and in order to keep it logical I don't see champion like Yasuo getting a happy ending and that's that no more lore. So how will we ever know the story of the elder and how it ended? or other tales.

I mean it's kind of like people, right? The stories don't end till they die and I don't see them killing champs until they shut league down for good.

I believe I heard a Rioter talking about "story arcs". A character's story arc may end with their death, it may end with a resolution, or it may be very obscure. But at that point, the ongoing story for that character will end.

To be honest, Riot probably will stall as long as possible for this, because no one likes to see their favorite champ die or stop receiving story content. In a similar vein, speculation is more fun.

Short answer: No.

In previous conversations I've had with Rioters, what they're actively trying to avoid are "final endings" where a Champion's story resolves.

They want to tell stories that have avenues for future tales. They also don't want to kill off a champion only to have it come back. (They burned that bridge with Gangplank already)

Would you actually want an ending? I find it fun speculating what might happen to the champs in the future. It fuels my fan fictions. If League's stories ever get an official ending, then the fun's over for fans of the champions involved.

I don't know what Riot plans for the lore in the long term, but for now I don't really like the idea of a final ending.
