Why Aatrox has been in seen in major conflicts throughout history

I don't know if others have already thought of this, but after the reveal of Kayn and Rhaast I had a thought. The Darkin as weapons are immortal but their hosts' bodies are not. In Aatrox's lore, it is said that he has personally been a major influence in many conflicts throughout all of recorded history. My thought on this is that during every major conflict, different nations, tribes, guilds, etc. all search for every advantage they can get. They find a sword that gives them immense power and bring it into battle and then over time Aatrox takes over the warrior's body thus allowing him to emerge during every war throughout history.

Maybe the host of Aatrox is from an inmortal race that is not human.

If we compare Aatrox with Rhaast, there is a big difference between them: One has wings and the other doesnt.

So, What if the wings of Aatrox are actually the corrupted wings of his host?

What im trying to say here, is that the Host of Aatrox could be a member of a winged race of Inmortal creatures...

Morgana Kayle

That is why the body of his host has not changed in ages.

But that is my theory.

Nothing says that after he possesses them that they are not immortal.
