Just give GP his new login as his Splash

It's just way more fitting in general. The new one reminds me of some old drunkard who thinks he's a badass simply cause he can crush oranges in his metal hand. It's not only way too dark but also doesn't look at all like GP, his face's way too different and he looks more of a thug than a dethroned reaver king.

His login on the other hand perfectly captures the situation he's in: He's wading out of the ocean, having escaped death once again He looks absolutely pissed, which is perfect. Who wouldn't be the least bit angry after having been blown up? He still incites fear and respect from the way he postures himself He looks ready to kick some ass He's simply the GP I envision.

Just give it a few tweaks and replace the new horrendous splash with it :)
