@Riot, I think Blizzard might have copied you a bit. (again)

I went into the D3 Necro DLC (released 27 June 2017) expecting the standard D2 Necro experience, but instead a strange sense of deja vu overcame me as I cast my eyes down the skill trees.

Blizzard, what are these adorably edgy icons? https://i.imgur.com/W2JAxbb.jpg What are these gorgeous visuals, Blizzard? (yes that's the endgame bloodmage armor) https://media.giphy.com/media/xUyla0hsAPN6KbwIxZ/giphy.gif #Blizzard?! https://i.imgur.com/yUdq9Qt.jpg

Don't think you can really copy a concept like that.

Vampire Blood Mage isn't exactly a new concept though. It's been used ever since vampires became a thing. Castlevania did it before Riot did it. In fact, the standard vampire look (long hair, ornery lookin' face) is not new either. Popped collars are a standard among vampires as well.

Well, it's not like Vlad is new and original as a character. He's named VLAD for fuck's sake.

Inspired by him? Maybe.... that outfit certainly is. But so? Everyone steals everything under the sun. Pink Taric is "inspired" by an old vanilla WoW armor set for Paladins. It's full circle, this incestuous thing of companies stealing things from companies and then those companies stealing things back. The entire entertainment industry has been snowballing the same ideas back and forth for ages now... and they rarely hide to too well... because it won't sell unless you see it and go "Oh shit, I remember that!" and then pay attention to it. They made it look like Vlad cause league is popular, not cause league invented those ideas. It's no big.

Oh, and for your own sanity.... don't look up "snowballing" please. Or do. It'll be funny for me either way.

I had no idea Diablo 3's Necromancer can be a blood mage... and this looks like Vladimir lol

blizzard is known for copy original works and make them "better", and by that i mean marketing their copies in a way so damn agressive, the original works become irrelevant

Blizzard made the original product that later was modified into League of Legends....so Riot was the copycat.

Blood mage isn't really an original concept and vampires(who are often related to blood) are also commonly depicted with white hair(of course black is also common, just saying that white hair isn't uncommon)
