Pulsefire Caitlyn Theory

*TLDR: Pulsefire is in the same universe as PROJECT, PROGRAM, Mecha, and Battlecast.

So ever since I saw these quotes from Pulsefire Caitlyn, its really got me thinking about this.

Since PROJECT, PROGRAM, Battlecast, etc are already connected. Would this hint at Pulsefire being added to the mix?

Look at this line > "We should've stopped you sooner."

We

So this means Pulsefire Caitlyn is working with someone. This may be with Pulsefire, but who knows. These next lines really convince me theyre connected

>"Oh. That may affect my timeline."

This implies that Caitlyn and PROJECT are connected, and that by killing them she may have messed up her timeline. >"We can't fix the past if we stay in the future."

Again, WE. This implies that Caitlyn was not expecting them to be here in their PROJECT form.

So thats the theory that I can 100% prove.

But why and how is Caitlyn working with the PROJECT champions?

Everything beyond this point is just my opinion and imagination, I have no solid proof to back any of this up, as PROJECT and all that is still vague lore wise.

I theorize that Caitlyn is against augmenting people into PROJECT. When she realized they were rebelling, she jumped to help them. But she couldnt risk doing it publicly, as if she got caught by specific people, she might be killed. Caitlyns gun is also apparently a time machine, which could be a great asset to the resistance if they ever needed it

NOTE: Its too unstable to mess with time, so they cant just try to stop PROJECT from ever happening or they run the risk of making a worse timeline and getting Caitlyn killed by someone else who is involved with Pulsefire, RIP Ezreal.

But PROJECT is in Ionia... so how is Caitlyn helping them? (Also Vi wya in this timeline)

Simple answer really, communication and travel (Caitlyns gun lul) has improved. This makes it so Caitlyn can freely travel to Ionia and communicate with the rebellion.

Now thats all I can say without going 100% imagination, dreamy, story mode. I hope well see more lore on this all soon, as its an interesting alternate reality thats leaving us with tons of questions.

Project,Program and Battlecast aren't connected.(no that isn't Battlecast Vel'koz in Katas splash art,his shape is clearly different from the battlecast skin)

Also: Where are you getting the idea from that Project is in ionia? Sure we have Project MasterYi,Yasuo&Zed,but we also have Project Ashe Katarina Ekko Fiora Leona Lucian

The Universes are connected. Pulsefire is the furthest in the Dystopian Timeline which all of them share. There is also the Cosmic Timeline where you have all the anime and cosmic / dark star skins part of.

Pulsefire is connected to all of the skin timelines, including the prime canon timeline due to the fact they can traverse time and space into different universes with different timelines.

(Plus a bit of Trivia not mentioned in the image, Mecha Zero Sion was corrupted by Creator Viktor).

  • Pulsefires (and most likely all of the futuristic skins) were made in the Post-Cog era (Cog being closely link to Piltover, meaning its the Era were they stopped using steampunk gear and cog mechanisms and started to use more hard light and refined tech).
  • Battlecasts are among the first tech in this timeline, followed closely by Mechas, then Programs, then closely by PROJECTs, then Pulsefires. The rest of the skins (anime, cosmic and past inspired) are most likely other timelines or universes which Pulsefires can traverse in (as well as other cosmic power magiks beings).

I remember someone saying that the Project universe takes place in a futuristic Ionia.

Its set in Ionia due to the sheer amount of Asian influences in the architecture and promo neon lights. more specifically the promo video that showcased PROJECT Yi, PROJECT Initiative may be located on other continents as well. Not to mention the design of the PROJECT skins was heavily inspired by Metal Gear series, an Asian originating video game.

The most likely case is that Riot is slowly building up to a connected multiverse thing, so for now they leaved it vague but with enough info for fans to notice the connections...mostly cause Riot in currently primarily focusing on the prime canon timeline, but that doesnt mean they are neglecting the other universes as well, its just there is not 12 page short stories revolving in said universes. Its mostly through small bits of media here and there that connected it all.

If you see the animated short, PF Caitlyn stops in the timeline of Project skins (as you cans ee in the background because PF Ezreal seems to be there too.

My theory is that Projects where forced "soldiers" that had to face the Programs machines who wreaked havoc in the world, Pulsefires then had been created after the Projects with a more advanced tech that also allowed ppl to remain human instead of turning them into cyborgs/hybrids with freedom of will issues.

PF Ezreal intent might have been to stop the Programs or free the Projects before the creation of Pulsefires.
