Both are magically empowered women who live in Noxus, and I get the feeling that Cass's family and the Black Rose will oppose one another some day, so who would win in a fight?

My bet would be on Cassiopeia.
In her new lore snippet she overwhelmed a trained soldier with brute force(ok he was drunk,but it was still pretty one-sided) and keep in mind thats he is a MAGE. I mean if her physical strenght is already impressive within her lore,then how powerful are her magical abilities?
Though I guess that Elise might be a bad matchup for Cassio,I mean does poison even work on Elise anymore?
Petrifying Gaze is a mighty magic. I give my vote to Cassiopeia.
According to Cassio's color text, she hasn't shown her face to anybody she was acquainted with since she was in Shurima.
My bet is that for the most part, she's considered dead or missing.
