Star Guardian Splash Art....

First off, the skins are beautiful in-game. I love the theme and I love the color palettes. However the splash art for the new SG skins looks very off putting. It's almost as if they were going for the style the Chinese splashes use, but with an American flare to them. Their faces are huge, they look wildly different from any of their other skins in terms of facial features. I would really appreciate any feedback on why this route was taken because they kind of look like sketches you'd see in a "draw your own manga!" book.
