So is Nautilus undead or just a threat to Bilgewater? Since both Illaoli and Kindreds rival shares a strong theme the undead but Kindred doesn't have nautilus. So let me explain why they have theses rivals Kindred is the personification of death and most shadow isle champs cheat death since the curse. Illaoli most undead are a threat to Bilgewater and are not in motion. So the only conclusion is nautilus is a threat to Bilgewater.

What do you think? Thank you for reading

He isn't as threat to Bilgewater as he took part in the defense once. My guess is that he isn't "in motion" because of his current fixation on revenge to the people that let him drown. Illoai would want him to move past his short-sighted goal.

All we know is that Nautilus got black gooped and merged with his diving suit. The thing with Illaoi is not that he is a threat to motion. No one is a threat. But they are exceptions, and she doesn't like that. Nautilus even defended Bilgewater against the Harrowing one time. My guess is, he is undead/immortal by normal means but not corrupted by the black mist. If he can still die, say by destroying his body, he wouldn't be an enemy for Kindred. He isn't spectral like Thresh or Mordekaiser.

It seems like he was claimed by the Black Mist and became a wraith. Maybe he's not a rival of Kindred because he doesn't embrace undeath? (Unlike Mordekaiser, Karthus, Thresh, Hecarim and Yorick. :P )

Personally I speculate that Nautilus was corrupted by the black mist underwater, but the undeads inside the mist didn't know that he was there,so he was left alone in the water.

So he might be still undead, but wouldn't be seen as an enemy of kindred since he himself isn't aware of this fact and doesn't seem to like his current state either(I mean Kindred doesn't list sion or urgot as their enemies despite the fact that these 2 are undeads as well)
